Repeated blows
On Wednesday, a Russian missile hit a facility in Kryvyi Rih, killing four civilians, including an 8-year-old boy and a 6-year-old girl who were among the 14 injured, the regional governor said via Telegram.
The 8-year-old is hospitalized in serious condition. The explosion caused damage to a gym, an administrative building, and apartment buildings.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky , who is originally from Kryvyi Rih, released photos from the scene of the attack, showing bloodied bodies on the ground, thick black smoke, and a burning building.
"All over the world, such attacks have a name – terrorism. The only way to stop this is to put enough pressure on Moscow, on the Russian system, to abandon war and terrorism," he said in a post on X, appealing to the United States and other allies.
