Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan stated that Israel's attacks on Syria paved the way for regional instability and said,"We do not want to confront Israel in Syria."
Israel, which has escalated the conflict in the region by continuing its attacks in the Gaza Strip and Lebanon, targeted Syria this time the other day. The Israeli army, which has been conducting airstrikes on certain points, especially military facilities under the control of the new government since December when the Bashar Assad regime was overthrown in the country, bombed Hama Military Airport, T4 Military Airport in Homs, and military infrastructure in the Damascus region in its latest attack.
Following the attack, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz threatened the new Syrian administration led by Ahmed Shara, saying,"If you allow hostile forces to enter Syria and threaten Israel's security interests, you will pay a very heavy price."
