The taxes imposed by the U.S. president will impact the price of sneakers and fashion, phones, tablets and electronic devices, vehicles, and even delays in online shopping.

From Cinco Jotas ham to Osborne, Borges, and CodornĂu: Spanish companies are exposed to Trump's tariffs.

Donald Trump's decision to impose tariffs on European products arriving in the United States will have a direct impact on the pockets of Spanish consumers almost from the first day this measure is implemented. Little by little, from now on, the cost of many everyday products will be strained not only by these new taxes, but by the pressure that all global trade will suffer.

Of all the purchases we make regularly, those related to American brand sneakers (Nike, Adidas, etc.), as well as T-shirts, pants, and sportswear, will see their prices increase. Not so much because they are manufactured in the United States, but because tariffs have been imposed on the countries where these goods are produced, causing their costs to rise. A similar situation will occur with all the electronic devices we use daily, from cell phones to tablets, laptops, televisions, and other similar goods. Vehicles, for their part, will become increasingly expensive, as they are subject to border taxes. And those who purchase online will also see their costs rise and, predictably, will experience delays due to the strain on the entire global supply chain threatened by the White House's decision.
