Sikorski states that the idea of closing part of Ukrainian airspace using NATO air defense systems may be reconsidered after the drone incursion into Poland.
- Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiha was the first person I communicated with when the Russian operation against Poland began. He confirmed this offer and I think Putin has now encouraged this idea - said Sikorski.
When asked if the countries on NATO's eastern flank feel safe after the Russian attack, he repeated that they believe they have shown Russia that NATO is ready and united.
