Zelensky said that Russian drones were actually in different regions of Ukraine all day and that Belarusian airspace was used to allow the drones to fly into Ukrainian airspace in the direction of Volyn, which borders Poland.

He emphasized that the Russian military understands exactly where their drones are directed and how long they can stay in the air.

According to the Ukrainian leader,"it cannot be coincidence".

"The routes are always calculated. This cannot be an accident, a mistake or the amateur actions of some low-ranking commanders. This is clearly expansion of the war by Russia, and this is exactly what they are doing. First, small steps, and in the end, big losses," warned Zelensky, the portal reports  RBK-Ukraine.

He confirmed that today a Russian drone flew into Romanian airspace, in connection with which the Romanian state raised fighter planes into the sky.

"According to current data, the drone penetrated the territory of Romania at a distance of about 10 kilometers and operated in the airspace of the NATO country for about 50 minutes. Also today, Poland launched a military response to the threat of Russian strike drones," Zelensky said on Telegram.

"That's why we always have to act preventively, starting from the principle that there are no insignificant military threats from those who are used to destroying the independence and lives of others," he pointed out.

As he stated, Russia is"used to it, so it must feel the consequences".

" sanctions against Russia are needed. Tariffs against Russian trade are needed. Joint defense is needed, and Ukraine has proposed to its partners to create just such a defense system. Do not wait for dozens of 'shahed' and ballistic missiles to finally make a decision," Zelensky said.
