The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported identifying a launcher with eight launch capsules and four rockets aimed towards Israeli territory during clearing activities carried out by the Kfir Brigade combat team in the Yellow Line, the zone created after the ceasefire agreement between Israel and the Hamas terrorist group reached in October 2025.

According to a statement released by the IDF on the social media platform X, the Kfir Brigade, under the command of the Gaza Division (143), located infrastructure identified as being used by terrorist organizations for attacks on Israeli soldiers and “to operate against the State of Israel.” In addition to the launcher and rockets, troops found Kalashnikov-type weapons, grenades, explosive devices, ammunition, and military uniforms during the operations, reinforcing the message that the teams are continuing their mission to protect and clear the area, following directives from the Israeli political leadership.

This week, active military operations have pushed the established peace plan for the enclave to its limits, amid escalating confrontations between the IDF and factions of the Islamist group. According to reports from the Hamas terrorist group, 17 bodies were found after four Israeli airstrikes on tents sheltering displaced people, killing five women and five children. In this sector of southern Gaza, two bombings on Thursday morning resulted in the deaths of five people, according to medical sources. The total number of deaths from Israeli airstrikes in the last 12 hours reached 33, in a resurgence of high-intensity violence since the US-mediated pause on October 10.

In Gaza City, staff at Al-Shifa Hospital reported that 16 people—including seven children and three women—were killed in two bombings of a building in the north of the city, where the bodies were taken after the incidents. According to hospital officials, the victims came from both sides of the ceasefire line, underscoring the fragmented nature of the enclave's administration.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported a series of airstrikes against Hamas targets in various locations across the Gaza Strip on Wednesday. The offensive followed an attack by members of the Islamist group on IDF troops in the Khan Younis area earlier that morning.

According to the military, no soldiers were injured in the clash. In the statement, also released on X, the military indicated that the attack by Hamas"constitutes a violation of the ceasefire agreement," which they claimed was the justification for the airstrikes.

Since the arrival of the truce - which came into effect on October 10 - the Israeli army has carried out several military operations in Gaza, due to abuses by members of the Islamist group.
