Mousa Abu Marzouk stated on Tuesday evening that the movement agreed to have a minister from the Palestinian Authority take over the administration of the Gaza Strip, prioritizing the interests of the people.

Abu Marzouk stated in a television interview that there is a Palestinian consensus that the security force in Gaza should be Palestinian, under the leadership of the sector's administration committee.

The Hamas leader explained that it would be difficult for the Security Council to pass the project to establish an international force in Gaza according to the American proposal.

He noted that the mediators insisted that the establishment of the international force in Gaza be by a decision of the Security Council.

He added in his remarks that neither the United States nor Israel had a desire for the international force to be established by a Security Council resolution, stressing that it is unacceptable for a military force to replace the occupation army in Gaza.

The Hamas leader stated that Israel did not win its war on Gaza and the Palestinian people did not raise the white flag after two years of annihilation.

He indicated that Hamas had recorded more than 190 Israeli violations since the ceasefire agreement came into effect on October 11, and pointed out that they had not yet reached the second phase of the agreement, which would discuss the status of weapons in the Gaza Strip.
