An informed source within the National Radio and Television Company revealed that the latter will oversee the management of production within some stadiums, as part of the media coverage of the Africa Cup of Nations matches hosted by the Kingdom from December 21st to January 18th.

According to a Hespress source, the national company, represented by the “Al-Riyadiya” channel, will cover and follow the matches that will be held at the Grand Stadium of Tangier, the Moulay Hassan Stadium and the Post Office Stadium in Rabat, in addition to the Mohammed V Stadium in Casablanca.

On the other hand, according to the available information, the international director Laurent Lachhan will oversee everything related to the matches that will be held at the Moulay Abdellah Stadium and other stadiums.

As for the stadiums in Fez and Agadir, according to the newspaper's sources, two foreign companies are expected to oversee the production process in them in coordination with the National Radio and Television Company.

Sources following this issue considered that the National Company’s supervision of some stadiums and not others is considered to be an indirect way of pulling the rug out from under the feet of the public sector, since the production will be supervised by the international director Laurent Lachâne.

It is worth noting that Morocco has allocated nine stadiums for this African football event, which will start in a few days, and will be hosted by six Moroccan cities.

Thus, Rabat will host the African Cup through the Prince Moulay Abdellah Sports Complex with a capacity of 69,500 spectators, the Olympic Stadium attached to the Prince Moulay Abdellah Complex with a capacity of up to 21,000 spectators, the Post Office Stadium with a capacity of 18,000 spectators, in addition to the Prince Moulay Hassan Sports Complex with a capacity of up to 22,000 spectators.

In Casablanca, the Mohammed V Sports Complex with a capacity of 45,000 spectators has been allocated, while the city of Agadir will be represented by the Adrar Stadium with a capacity of 41,144 spectators, and Marrakech will host the “CAN” through its large stadium with a capacity of 41,245 spectators, and the city of Fez will host it with its stadium that can accommodate 35,468 spectators, in addition to Tangier and its large stadium with a capacity of 75,600 spectators.
