Vilnius Airport has been closed for the fourth time this week due to weather balloons being used for smuggling.

As announced, aircraft traffic at Vilnius Airport was suspended on Saturday evening. The decision was made due to the smuggling of weather balloons from Belarus.

According to the politician, the meeting promises to seek long-term measures to resolve the crisis. She did not rule out the possibility that a decision will be made on Monday to close the Medininkai and Šalčininkai border crossings with Belarus for a longer period.
