Morocco's youth national team crushes New Caledonia and boosts qualification hopes

The Moroccan national team under 17 years old achieved a historic victory over the New Caledonian national team with a crushing score of (16-0), today, Sunday, in the third round of the group stage of the World Cup for boys held in Qatar.

The “Atlas Lions” started strongly from the beginning, with Bilal Socrates opening the scoring in the 3rd minute, before Walid Ben Saleh added the second goal in the 11th minute, and then the third in the 18th minute.

Abdelali Daoudi scored the fourth and fifth goals in the 40th and 42nd minutes, while Ilyas Hidaoui scored the sixth goal in the 44th minute, and Ziad Baha concluded the first half with the seventh goal in the second minute of stoppage time.

In the second half, the Moroccan team continued their goal fest, with goals from Zakaria El Khalfioui (49), Ziad Baha (50), Nahil Haddani (56 and 59), Abdullah Wazzan (73), Andrew (own goal) (75), Ismail El Aoud (80 and 90), and then Abdullah Wazzan again in the 92nd minute, thus confirming the absolute superiority of the youngsters.

With this resounding victory, the Moroccan national team revives its hopes of qualifying for the knockout stages as one of the best third-placed teams.
