US President Trump warned that US aid to Nigeria would be cut off and a military attack could be carried out due to the"killing of Christians".

Trump shared a post on his account on the social media platform Truth Social. Stating that the US would immediately cut off all aid and support to Nigeria if the Nigerian government"continues to allow the killing of Christians," Trump also warned that he could enter the country "with guns blazing."

Donald Trump called on the Nigerian government to act quickly, saying,"I am instructing our War Department to be prepared for possible action. If we attack, it will be swift, brutal, and sweet, just as terrorist bandits attacked our beloved Christians."

Trump declared Nigeria a "country of particular concern" due to "massacres against Christians" in a post on his Truth Social account on October 31.
