Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu revealed, on Sunday, the reason for launching the attack on Iran, noting that the Isfahan reactor had been destroyed.
"I launched the attack on Iran because we were facing an imminent threat, and we were facing an existential threat from Iran that included accelerating the production of atomic bombs and increasing the ballistic arsenal," Netanyahu said, according to Fox News.
"We cannot allow Iran to possess nuclear weapons while it intends to provide them to the Houthis and others," he added.
Netanyahu noted,"We have done a lot to strike deep underground Iranian nuclear sites," adding,"We destroyed the main nuclear facility at Natanz, and we will do more if necessary."
He continued,"Our intelligence indicated that Iran wanted to transfer nuclear weapons to the Houthis," stressing,"We destroyed the Isfahan reactor, and without it, it is impossible to obtain a nuclear weapon."
