Beyond the paving of arteries, the redevelopment of certain roads and the maintenance operations of parks and green spaces, one marker now stands out in Rabat: the countdown to the 2025 AFCON is displayed on the Rabat-Salé tramway.
At the initiative of the Rabat prefecture and the Tramway Company, under the Bouregreg Valley Development Agency, the red and green tram cars have been adorned with a communication system in the colors of the continent's most prestigious football competition. This includes a series of graphic symbols associated with the event, most notably the trophy that will be contested by 24 national teams, accompanied by a clear welcome message: Welcome to Morocco. The tram also highlights the six host cities of the competition—Rabat, Casablanca, Tangier, Agadir, Fez, and Marrakech—while giving a strong nod to CAF, the organizer of the Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2025, whose name appears prominently displayed.

In the capital, the campaign extends beyond transportation. Large billboards line the streets, displaying welcome messages for visitors in three languages—Arabic, French, and English. The façade of the Rabat-Agdal train station also participates in this display: large white letters on a red background proclaim"Welcome to Morocco" and "Kingdom of Football," serving as a visual manifesto of the Kingdom's ambition.
In the streets of Rabat, enthusiasm is already spreading among supporters. Interviewed by Le360, Jamal Rajraji, wearing a scarf in the national colors around his neck, says he is confident about the national team's chances, and he doesn't hesitate to predict their eventual victory.
