A raid on the studios of Al Jazeera and an attempt to stop the filming of a Turkish TV station. Israel does not want anyone to know where the Iranian missiles hit and has already interrupted the work of journalists who were documenting the damage of Tehran's raids on the capital.
In the first case, reported by the Tel Aviv media themselves, the police raided a complex of foreign news agencies, from where the Qatari channel Al Jazeera – already at the centre of several repressive measures after 7 October – was broadcasting, documenting the places where the bombs launched by the Iranian army fell and revealing their exact position, despite it being forbidden: the agents"interrupted the illegal broadcasts", some Israeli media explained.
In another incident, as Turkish state-run TV TRT reported live, an Israeli soldier stopped the journalist and the cameraman from continuing filming, asking them if they had permissions and to show the document that identified him as a reporter. “The Israeli police blocked the live broadcast of TRT News,” the Turkish network wrote on its channel X, adding that the intervention occurred “while the crew was reporting the developments from Tel Aviv.”
