"All airlines, pilots, drug dealers and human traffickers, please take note: The airspace over and around Venezuela will be closed. Thank you for your attention. President Donald Trump," reads the full post by the American president.
The US president's post can be interpreted in two ways, and international agencies are also having trouble understanding its meaning. If the English word"consider" and the phrase "will be closed" are used in the same sentence, the words"consider to be closed" can be treated as if the decision to close the airspace had already taken effect. Fox News, among others, interprets the president's words this way. Reuters, on the other hand, capitalizing Trump's post, reports that the decision is still to be made.

Venezuela - USA. The situation is tense
The US military has been sending forces to the Caribbean for months amid deteriorating relations with Venezuela. The official goal is to combat leader Nicolas Maduro's involvement in drug trafficking in the US.
Maduro himself denies these accusations and claims that President Donald Trump is seeking to remove him from power. The Venezuelan leader has threatened that if Trump tries to remove him from power, the country's people and military will revolt against the Americans.
As a reminder, the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) warned major airlines last week about a"potentially dangerous situation" during flights over Venezuela. It cited"the deteriorating security situation and increased military activity in or around the country."
Despite this, several international airlines have canceled flights to Venezuela, ignoring Caracas's demands to resume flights. Many tourists have been unable to return home.
The Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs recommends refraining from traveling to Venezuela
Due to the uncertain situation in the Venezuelan region , the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs advises Poles against traveling there.
Due to the concentration of armed forces in the region, the suspension of many flights and the possibility of a sudden deterioration of the security situation, it is recommended to refrain from all travel to Venezuela, including to Margarita Island and neighboring islands belonging to the same tourist region.
