First, the event itself dominates all discussions in offices, cafes, and even homes. Second, the wilaya (province) has installed flagpoles displaying the flags of the 24 competing nations at major intersections in the host cities (Rabat, Casablanca, Tangier, Fez, Marrakech, and Agadir). Taxis, both large and small, are also displaying the symbols of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, visible on all the streets and avenues of the capital. The tram running between Rabat and Salé has also painted its carriages in the red colors of the Africa Cup of Nations, while the regular urban transport company awaits its turn to join this show of solidarity.
Furthermore, the wilaya has mobilized a team of gardeners to maintain the city's green spaces and has ordered the beautification of building facades. The public lighting network is also undergoing inspections. Simultaneously, law enforcement is conducting patrols to reinforce security and order.
Finally, two large fan zones have been set up for supporters: one near the OLM Souissi in Rabat and the other in Salé near Mrissa Square, with the installation of two giant television screens to follow the matches.
