The total number of people affected by this disaster was 3.3 million.

This data is also continuously updated by BNPB periodically.

Previously, Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto moved to review four locations affected by the flash flood and landslide disaster in Sumatra, namely Central Tapanuli (Tapteng), Medan, Southeast Aceh, and Padang Pariaman, Monday (1/12/2025).

When he was present among the refugees, the Head of State reassured the residents that the worst weather predictions had passed.

While in Aceh, Prabowo ensured that there was a budget to help disaster victims in Aceh, North Sumatra, and West Sumatra.

"Thank God, we have the budget. We're making significant savings at the central level to provide as much assistance as possible, to help as many people as possible at the grassroots level, in villages and sub-districts. That's our goal," Prabowo said while meeting with refugees in Kutacane, Pulo Sanggar, Southeast Aceh.

While in Kasai Permai, Padang Pariaman, West Sumatra, Prabowo emphasized that the government would not leave the community to struggle alone to overcome this disaster.
