During an interview with journalist Hajar Jalal on the"Midday Al-Nahar" program on Cairo News Channel, Khansari explained that Iran's air defenses are operating at full capacity in an attempt to repel Israeli attacks using drones and various types of missiles. He noted that Iran is attempting to prevent Israel from carrying out precision strikes from within Iranian territory.

He added: Although Iran has already taken retaliatory steps, the reality is that continuing this war in this manner is unsustainable in the long term. He noted that Iran's military capabilities are limited compared to Israel's military machine, making it difficult to continue escalation without a high cost.
Khansari emphasized that the current battle is likely to be extremely intense and violent, which calls for urgent international mediation in what he described as the current difficult times, with the aim of halting the escalation and preventing the conflict from turning into an open war that could involve other regional and international parties.
