A community source said the information came from a nearby village that witnessed the movement firsthand.

Residents of Lile community in Patigi Local Government Area, Kwara State, were thrown into panic on Tuesday evening as scores of terrorists were reportedly seen advancing toward the area on dozens of motorcycles.

According to local sources who spoke with SaharaReporters, the armed men, believed to be bandits were seen riding in a convoy of over 40 motorcycles, with two to three persons on each bike.

A community source said the information came from a nearby village that witnessed the movement firsthand.

“We have just received a call from our neighbouring village informing us that the notorious bandits were sighted moving in large numbers, over 40 motorcycles, carrying two to three persons each,” the resident said.

The armed group reportedly passed through the neighbouring settlement without confrontation, heading directly toward Lile community.

Their current location, however, remains unknown as of the time of filing this report.

“They passed through the neighbouring village and headed directly towards Lile community. Their current location is unknown at this moment,” the source added.

Fear has now gripped local residents who are calling on security agencies to respond swiftly before the situation escalates.

“We urgently request immediate security intervention in our community,” the resident pleaded.

As of press time, neither the Kwara State Police Command nor local security outfits have issued an official statement regarding the reported movement.

Earlier, SaharaReporters reported that terror swept through Isapa community in the Ekiti Local Government Area of Kwara State on Monday evening as terrorists invaded the town, abducting a pregnant woman, 10 children, two nursing mothers, and several others.

Isapa lies a short distance from Eruku — another community recently hit by a similar abduction.

The state police command confirmed the attack on Tuesday, saying 10 people were kidnapped.

According to National Pilot, the attack occurred around 6pm on November 24, 2025, when an estimated 20 to 30 armed bandits stormed the community, advancing with a large herd of cattle and firing sporadically.

However, a community leader who confirmed the incident said 11 people were abducted, including seven members of the same family.

Among the kidnapped victims are a pregnant woman, two nursing mothers, and several young children.

The abducted individuals have been identified as: Talatu Kabiru, Magaji, Kande, Hadiza, Mariam, Saima, Habibat (a housewife), Fatima Yusufu (a housewife), Sarah Sunday (pregnant woman), Lami Fidelis (a nursing mother), and Haja Na Allah.

Eyewitnesses explained that the gunmen moved through parts of the town, leaving multiple bullet holes in walls and doors.

Expended AK-47 shells were recovered across the community after the attackers fled.
