Four people were injured in an Israeli attack in the Gaza Strip despite the ceasefire. Awda Hospital in Gaza stated that the Israeli army targeted a civilian vehicle at the Nusayrat Refugee Camp in the central Gaza Strip. The statement added that the four people injured in the attack were receiving treatment at the hospital.
On the other hand, in a statement made by the Israeli army, it was admitted that despite the ceasefire agreement in Gaza, an attack was carried out on the Nusayrat region, which is on the side of the yellow line not under Israeli control.
It was stated that a member of the Islamic Jihad Movement was targeted in the attack and that this person was allegedly preparing to attack Israel.
The statement threatened that the Israeli army would continue to launch attacks against so-called threats.
Ceasefire and Prisoner Exchange Agreement in Gaza
US President Donald Trump announced on October 9 that Israel and Hamas had approved the first phase of a ceasefire plan in Gaza during ongoing negotiations in Egypt.
The agreement was signed in Egypt, where negotiations were held, and came into effect on October 10 with the approval of the Israeli government.
Following the Israeli army's withdrawal from the"yellow line" as specified in the agreement, it was announced that the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip came into effect at 12:00 on the same day.
Despite the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, the Israeli army occasionally carries out attacks against Palestinians under various pretexts.
