A senior commander of the Iranian Army has asserted that no threat can undermine the security and independence of the Islamic Republic, reaffirming the unwavering preparedness of the Armed Forces.

Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari, deputy chief of the Iranian Army for Coordination, made the remarks on Friday while addressing cadets and faculty members at Imam Ali Officers’ University in Tehran — the country’s premier military academy responsible for training future Army officers and developing leadership skills based on modern defense and strategic doctrines.

Sayyari said that enduring peace and stability are attainable only through strength, readiness, and deterrence.

“A war occurs where there is no readiness. Therefore, as long as the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran are at a proper level of readiness in terms of training, equipment, and morale, the enemy will never have the ability to threaten or attack,” he said.

He added that Iran’s well-prepared and devoted armed forces would ultimately prevail in any confrontation, emphasizing their commitment to defending the nation’s sovereignty and values.

The senior commander described preserving territorial integrity, safeguarding independence, and protecting the Islamic Republic as the Army’s core duties.

He noted that all activities, training, and programs across the Army are designed around these three guiding principles and urged personnel to uphold them in all circumstances.

Sayyari highlighted that Iran’s armed forces are continually enhancing their capabilities in critical fields, including training, technology, and morale, to better fulfill their missions.

Strengthening professional skills and modernizing equipment in line with emerging threats, he said, are essential to maintaining deterrence and military effectiveness.

He also pointed out that the Army’s strength is rooted in faith, insight, and adherence to the directives of Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, who has consistently called for advancing the country’s defense capabilities.

"As long as these principles are in place in the Armed Forces, no threat can undermine Islamic Iran's security and independence," he said.
