The Russian army command continues to attract military personnel from North Korea to support operations in the Sumy region due to critical personnel losses and the failure of offensive operations in this direction.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on, Ukrinform reports.

According to the General Staff, from the territory of the Kursk region, North Korean units are conducting reconnaissance activities using unmanned aerial vehicles, identifying the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and helping to adjust fire on the positions of Ukrainian defenders in the Sumy region.

The Defense Forces recorded negotiations between North Korean drone operators and Russian military personnel. North Korean UAV operators were adjusting the fire of multiple launch rocket systems at Ukrainian positions.

It is emphasized that the Armed Forces of Ukraine document all established facts of the participation of foreign formations in armed aggression.

Units involved in aggression against Ukraine will be neutralized in accordance with the laws and rules of warfare, the General Staff notes.

As Ukrinform reported, the Armed Forces of Ukraine previously captured a Russian mercenary from India.
