Focus on Yermak's Role and Relationship with Zelensky

Yermak's Response and Cooperation

The suspicion that the head of the Specialized Prosecutor's Office for the fight against corruption (SAP) Oleksandar Klimenko is involved in a serious corruption scandal around "Eenrgoatom", which is shaking Ukraine, already exists, although it is not"documented".

The source of the Ukrainian portal pointed out that the law enforcement authorities, who know about the suspicions about Klymenko, are actually afraid to present those claims to him, and especially to put them on paper.

At the same time, today investigators of NABU and SAPO searched the house of Andriy Yermak, head of the Office of the President of Ukraine.

Now it is expected that Klimenko will sign the report against the closest associate of Volodymyr Zelenski, if the searches show that there are grounds for it.

As for the possible accusation against Klimenko himself, according to the nv.ua source, it was prepared in the context of a large investigation by NABU and SAPO  within"Operation Midas", which concerns the background business of Timur Mindič, co-owner of Studio Kvartal 95, which forms the backbone of the"Energoat" affair.

By the way, Mindič was an associate of Zelenski.

The media reported that the search of Jermak's house was also connected to that affair, otherwise worth 100 million dollars.

Portal nv.ua states that they first received information about suspicions against SAP head from their sources back in September, but they state that the editorial office did not receive the document itself, nor the draft of a possible indictment.

Also, the portal points out that there are well-founded doubts that it was Jermak who"placed" Klimenko, which is why they state that they contacted Dmitri Litvin, the presidential communications adviser, for a comment, but, as they state, did not receive it.

Also, the Ukrainian media state that there is a suspicion that the head of the parliamentary faction of Zelenskiy's party, Servant of the People, David Arahamiya is involved in the affair, but this information has been denied by several sources.
