Breaking news: US President Donald Trump delivered remarks at the historic Gaza Summit in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt. Noting that Türkiye has one of the world's most powerful militaries, Trump thanked President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan for his contributions to the Gaza ceasefire. The historic Gaza Summit, held in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, has begun. US President Trump made statements on the summit.

"A VERY COMPREHENSIVE AGREEMENT"

Trump, stating that the ceasefire agreement reached in Gaza was very comprehensive and that it was a great honor to be a part of it, said,"We have an agreement on everything. We rescued the hostages. We took the hostages according to our plan. Unfortunately, we also found a lot of dead bodies. Some we haven't. We're trying to find out where the remaining bodies are. This is a very sad situation."

"I THANK ERDOĞAN"

Trump said, “We have ended a 300-year conflict. The leaders representing their countries at this table are very good. I also thank Qatar. He is a wonderful gentleman. A man I have been friends with for a long time.”

While praising President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Trump said, “I like tough guys better. I am talking about the gentleman in Türkiye. He has one of the strongest armies in the world. He has been there for me whenever I have asked for help. I thank President Erdoğan. He has a problem with NATO. They called me. They asked me if I could do them a favor. They asked me if I could talk to Erdoğan. He has never let us down. I thank him for his friendship.”
