Abdellatif Hammouchi, Director General of National Security and Territorial Surveillance, hosted a dinner this Wednesday evening in honor of representatives of countries and international and regional organizations participating in the General Assembly of the International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL), which is being held in Marrakech from November 24 to 27. The official event took place at the historic El Badi Palace in Marrakech, and was attended by high-level security and diplomatic delegations participating in the INTERPOL meetings.

The banquet was attended by Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, President of Interpol, Valdecais Orquiza, Secretary General of the same organization, and members of Interpol's Executive Committee, as well as Mohammed bin Ali Koman, Secretary General of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers. More than 1,200 delegates representing member states and international organizations also participated in the reception, including Francisco Pardo Piqueris, Director General of the Spanish National Police, and ministers of the interior and directors of police and security agencies from numerous countries.

On the Moroccan side, the event was attended by Abdelouafi Laftit, Minister of the Interior; Nasser Bourita, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Living Abroad; Fouzi Lekjaa, Minister Delegate in charge of the Budget; Lieutenant General Mohamed Hermou, Commander of the Royal Gendarmerie; Mohamed Yassine Mansouri, Director General of Studies and Documentation; and Khatib El Hebil, Governor of the Marrakech-Safi region.

The banquet included artistic and cultural segments in which sixteen folk groups participated, presenting musical performances representing the diversity of Moroccan singing styles from the north of the country to the south; as part of a parallel program to the activities of the Interpol General Assembly, which Marrakech is hosting for the first time in this expanded format.

This date comes within the framework of the official program of the annual meetings of the International Criminal Police Organization, which review issues of cross-border police cooperation, information exchange and combating organized crime, with the participation of representatives of security agencies from different continents.
