Trump's Conversation with Zelensky:"It's Time to Make a Deal"

Friday's talks between the presidents of the United States and Ukraine came shortly after Donald Trump spoke with Vladimir Putin. According to media reports, the meeting was reportedly very heated, with Trump shouting, cursing, and even throwing maps.

- If Putin wants it, he will destroy you - the American president reportedly said to Zelensky.

Trump himself presented the course of the meeting differently."The conversation was very interesting and cordial, but I told him (Zelensky - ed.), just as I suggested to President Putin, that it was high time to end the killing and reach an agreement," he wrote on social media.

He also denied proposing to Zelensky that he give up Donbas."No,  we never talked about it. I think they should just stop at the front lines. (...) I think 78 percent of this territory (Donbas - ed.) is already occupied by Russia. Leave it as it is. They can negotiate something later," he said.
