US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation today on the topic of the escalation of the conflict between Iran and Israel, according to Russian news agencies, which quoted Kremlin foreign policy adviser Yuri Ushakov, reports Sky News.
Putin condemned Israel's attacks on Iran, and both leaders did not rule out resuming talks on the Iranian nuclear program.
Ushakov also stated that Putin reaffirmed his willingness to continue negotiations with Ukraine.
The two leaders spoke for about 50 minutes, and Ushakov described the conversation as meaningful and useful.
