White House Response to Nobel Prize Snub

Gaza Ceasefire Implementation and Immediate Effects

US President Trump met with Finnish President Alexander Stubb at the White House and answered questions from members of the press about current events in the Oval Office.

Trump emphasized that the ceasefire process in Gaza will work well and that all countries in the region support this plan.

When asked if he confirmed that Palestinians would not be forcibly displaced during the reconstruction of Gaza, Trump said,"No, quite the opposite. No one will be forcibly displaced. We have no plans to do anything like that. It's a great plan, it's a peace plan, and it's a plan that everyone supports."

"WE PLANNING TO SET OUT ON SUNDAY"

Trump stated that the prisoners would be released on Monday or Tuesday, according to the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas, and said,"I think it will be great. I will probably be there that day. We plan to leave on Sunday. Everyone is celebrating in Israel and in many countries I have seen."

"Peace in the Middle East, everyone came together for this," said Trump, emphasizing his belief that peace would be achieved in the region with this agreement.

Responding to the question of what conditions are necessary for a two-state solution and whether it would be possible, Trump stated that they could look into this issue"when the time comes" and that they need to reach that stage first.

Finnish President Stubb also thanked US President Trump for his role in the ceasefire agreement process in Gaza.

"I want to congratulate you on what we have seen in Gaza in the last 24 hours. This is truly a historic agreement," Stubb said.

NOBEL PEACE PRIZE QUESTION TO TRUMP

On the other hand, while responding to questions about whether he would be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize, Trump assessed that he had ended seven wars to date and also ended the"war" between Israel and Hamas.

Recalling that former US President Barack Obama had also received the Nobel Peace Prize, Trump argued that Obama received this award despite being a bad president and doing nothing.

SPAIN SHOULD BE REMOVED FROM NATO

President Trump argued that all NATO member countries except Spain have increased their defense spending, but Spain is"stagnating" on this issue.

Trump criticized the Madrid administration, saying,"Maybe you should take them out of NATO."
